Selfie Wall
for Denver Botanic Gardens
I then outlined where I wanted the plant portion of the wall to be, and where the wood would remain exposed. I used other pallet slats to fill in gaps and stained the wall to create at more cohesive look. Finally, in order to keep the wall more transportable, I decided to keep the three sections detachable, that could be reattached on sight.
To pull it all together, I painted wooden slat signs for each of the participating organizations to hang on the selfie wall for inadvertent advertisement and a final touch.
I began my process by sourcing lots of wood pallets from around Denver that were otherwise going to be thrown away. I then sized and cut them to fit within my given dimension constraints.
